This book was recommended to me by a friend. Is the book relevant if the toxicity appeared only when I was an adult? The action-oriented section on how to help yourself overcome things was disappointingly brief in forrward, and the only thing that was actually useful to me was buried deep in the chapter about incest victims, a topic that the author writes about in considerably more detail than others, even though a lot of information there is broader than incest survivors only.
